I once heard this said about raising children: "It is the longest days and the shortest years of your life." Isn't this so very true! My days have felt especially long lately as Colton has been very sick with a sore throat and fever for the last four nights. He hasn't been able to sleep beyond hour intervals and I feel like a walking zombie. And yet.....I get up in the morning and have such joy in these days with these miracles of my life. Thank you God for these precious little people. What a blessing they are when days are hard and my heart is heavy.
